Kevin Liliana harumkan nama Indonesia dalam Miss International 2017

Kevin Liliana, perempuan asal Bandung itu berhasil menjadi juara di ajang bergengsi dunia yaitu Miss International 2017.

Pada tahun sebelumnya, Indonesia juga sempat menjadi juara di ajang Miss International 2016, yang diwakili oleh Felicia Hwang. Felicia berhasil keluar sebagai juara ketiga kompetisi tersebut.

Nama Kevin sendiri sudah menjadi hal yang tidak lumrah untuk nama seorang perempuan. Namun, hal itu terbantahkan dengan prestasi yang ia dapatkan dalam beauty pageant.

Dalam persaingan meraih gelar Miss International, Kevin mengalahkan 65 wanita lainnya dari berbagai negara yang finalnya diselenggarakan di Tokyo Dome City Hall, Tokyo, Jepang.

Negara Venezuela dan Curacao menjadi peringkat kedua dan ketiga yang diwakili oleh Diana Macarena dan Chanelle Wilhelmina. Keluar sebagai juara pertama, Kevin menggantikan posisi Kylie Verzosa asal Filipina sebagai Miss International 2016.

Sebelum meraih gelar sebagai Miss International 2017, Kevin sudah aktif dalam beberapa ajang kecantikan.

Finalis asal Jawa Barat ini pernah mengikuti ajang Puteri Indonesia dan keluar menjadi Putri Indonesia Lingkungan 2017, ia juga meraih gelar sebagai Puteri Indonesia Jawa Barat 2017.

Beberapa tahun sebelumnya, perempuan berusia 21 tahun itu juga memiliki gelar sebagai Gadis Sampul Persahabatan 2012 dan Runner Up 1 Mojang Kota Bandung 2015.

Ia juga pernah terpilih sebagai Second Place Miss Panasonic Award dan People Choice dari Missossology.

(15/11/17) Kylie, you’re such a lovely and adorable woman everyone must be so proud of you especially your country and Miss International Organization, you’re a great role model. Thank you so much for inspiring us❤️ Two days ago, it was in the rehearsal. Kylie took a seat beside me and we had the lunch together. She told me about her feelings when she passed the pageant days and won Miss International 2016. I got my goosebump when she talk about that. And then my chaperone came and gave us some water, I tried to help her to pass the bottle so I stood up and after it finished I was like to have a seat BUUUTTT I forgot the chair is the automatically flipped chair when there is nobody sitting there…. SO I FELL OFF! In front of Kylie, and all of the girls. It hurts my hips, but I also felt embarrassed ? But then Kylie helped me to stand up, and she said “Are you okay? It’s going to be your luck” I guess she was giving me some bless at that time ? Then in the coronation night, I thought I wasn’t gonna make it because my country haven’t mention yet until the first placement. But at that time I was suggest myself to calm down because I already gave my best and I also proud of myself because of my performance, I feel like I did it very well. But then, suddenly they announced the winner and it was my country. I couldn’t feel my legs and my face was uncontrolled I can’t hold it. Last night was the best moment in my life that ever happened❤️ #MissInternational2017

(15/11/17) Ohayo Gozaimasu!❤️ Last night became the most precious moment in my life, I woke up this morning and still couldn’t believe I’m the Miss International 2017. I would like to say thank you Miss International Organization for giving me the chance to have the title. I did my best for my country, I pray as much as I can, I thank God because my prayer was answered last night. And it woudn’t happen without your supports and prayer, Indonesia! I can’t stop to express my feeling, I feel so grateful and blessed. Thank you very much❤️?? #missinternational2017
